About

You live, you learn.

I’m Phoebe

I've always had an insatiable curiosity that propels me to learn more about the world around me. My drive to learn and has brought me on countless journeys, both inside and outside of classrooms. I have mentors I can lean on, but experience is my greatest teacher.

I studied film in Poly, graphic design in Uni, and found work in a digital agency that designed websites, apps, and other digital collaterals. Find my resume here.

After 1 final year project, 3 internships, and 2 years at an agency, I’ve realised that all I wanted to do from the beginning was to create work that’s functional, accessible, and meaningful. I want my products to empower the people who use them. I’m currently working at a health tech start-up to help People with Parkinson’s better manage their health, and receive medication updates from their doctors remotely.

I enjoy knowing a bit of everything– I’ve explored different methods of printing, dabbled in animation, signed up for courses to understand web development, read books on design thinking, product design, psychology and data visualisation– mostly for fun.

I shoot photos on film and digital. I can debate both sides of an argument to test an idea. I follow tech and nature on Instagram. I have a collection of plants (not necessarily doing well). I have a cat that behaves like a dog. I’m scared of heights but I scare myself by bouldering. I’ve spent entire Saturdays playing bridge, reading, or watching Netflix.
